Fragments of the Realm — Mixed Media Plaques

A little piece of the Realm, captured in miniature. Fragments of the Realm are individually handcrafted mixed-media plaques created from the same wonderfully strange world as the larger House of Kyrtex pieces — just in a smaller, more accessible form. Each fragment develops its own character as it is made, combining sculptural textures, fabric, embellishments and hand-applied finishes to create a small piece of dark fantasy art. Dragons, skulls, bats, fossils and other curious inhabitants of the Realm may emerge amongst the folds and textures, meaning no two plaques will ever be exactly alike. Each Fragment can be customised to suit you. Choose your preferred base colour and theme, add a name, number, word or short piece of text, and let me know any colour ideas you’d like incorporated. Your Fragment will then be individually created for you — so while the examples shown give you an idea of what can be made, your finished piece will be uniquely yours. Designed as affordable little pieces of House of Kyrtex, they are perfect for adding a touch of the unusual to a shelf, desk or display — or for anyone who would simply like to take a small fragment of the Realm home with them. Original House of Kyrtex artwork — each fragment is individually handcrafted.
