Lunara — Illuminated Moon Mirror

Meet Lunara.

Softly illuminated and a little otherworldly, Lunara is a one-of-a-kind moon mirror created to bring a small piece of the night sky into the House of Kyrtex.

Her circular mirror is partially embraced by a heavily textured crescent moon, its rough, cratered surface contrasting with the softer lilac and metallic textures surrounding the outer edge. When illuminated, tiny points of cool white light glow from within the crescent, transforming Lunara from an unusual decorative mirror into something altogether more magical.

Individually handcrafted using mixed-media and Powertex techniques, every layer of texture and colour has been built and finished by hand, giving the moon an aged, almost stone-like appearance.

Beautiful both illuminated and unlit, Lunara makes an unusual addition to a fantasy, celestial or gothic interior — and provides a rather more interesting reflection than your average mirror.

For moon watchers, night wanderers and anyone who suspects ordinary mirrors are simply lacking imagination.
