Mr Gnorbus Bumblewick — Fabric Sculpted Gnome

Meet Mr Gnorbus Bumblewick.

Secretive, eccentric and almost entirely concealed beneath an outrageously oversized hat, Mr Gnorbus Bumblewick is one of the more peculiar residents of the House of Kyrtex.

With his enormous crooked hat pulled firmly over his eyes, magnificent shaggy beard and rather prominent nose, Gnorbus has perfected the art of observing absolutely everything while appearing to see nothing at all. His outstretched arms suggest either a warm welcome or an attempt to prevent you going somewhere you shouldn't. He has declined to clarify which.

Individually hand sculpted using fabric and Powertex, Gnorbus is built from layers of hardened textiles, from the folds and twists of his towering hat to the wrapped textures of his clothing. Rustic green, bronze and earthy metallic tones have been dry-brushed by hand, bringing out every crease, patch and wonderfully weathered detail.

Like all House of Kyrtex characters, Gnorbus wasn't created from a pattern or produced as part of a run. His pose, textures and considerable personality developed individually as he was made, ensuring there will never be another quite like him.
