Poisonous Hallows

Some things are buried because they are dead. Others are buried because they are waiting.

Poisonous Hallows grew from a place where the earth had long since stopped giving up its secrets. Twisted blooms gathered around an ancient skull, their strange colours feeding on whatever still lingered beneath the soil. No one remembers who the skull belonged to — only that the flowers return every year, brighter than before.
