Meet Reliquary.

Ancient, mysterious and perhaps best left undisturbed, Reliquary is a one-of-a-kind masquerade mask that looks as though it has been unearthed rather than made.

Deep, weathered tones and metallic highlights travel across the heavily textured surface, giving the mask the appearance of an artefact worn and altered by time. Sculptural details emerge from the layers, catching the light and revealing something new depending on the angle from which he is viewed.

Individually handcrafted using mixed-media and Powertex techniques, Reliquary began as a wearable mask before being transformed layer by layer into an original piece of House of Kyrtex art.

Despite his ancient appearance, Reliquary remains wearable, making him equally suited to a masquerade ball, gothic event or theatrical occasion — although displayed on a wall, he may look rather convincingly like something you shouldn't have brought home.

For collectors of dark fantasy, curious artefacts and objects that appear to have a history they aren't particularly willing to explain.
