The Kraken's Keepsake — Mixed Media Journal A5
Meet The Kraken’s Keepsake.
Weathered, watchful and carrying the distinct impression that something beneath the surface is still very much awake, The Kraken’s Keepsake is a one-of-a-kind mixed-media journal from the House of Kyrtex.
Its cover is built up with layers of textured fabric, shell forms and fossil-like details, all arranged around a single unsettling eye that peers through the folds as though guarding whatever secrets lie inside. Metallic copper, bronze and aged ivory tones have been worked across the surface by hand, catching every ridge, spiral and sculptural detail.
Created using Powertex and mixed-media techniques, the journal has been transformed from an ordinary book into something that feels more like a recovered artefact from the ocean floor — part relic, part creature and entirely suspicious.
The spiral-bound format makes it practical as well as decorative, whether used for notes, sketches, spells, secret plans or documenting encounters with things that probably live considerably deeper than they should.
Perfect for lovers of nautical fantasy, krakens, sea monsters, unusual journals and beautifully strange objects with far too much personality.
