Meet The Relic.

Weathered, mysterious and carrying the unmistakable air of something that probably should have remained buried, The Relic is a one-of-a-kind masquerade mask that appears to have survived considerably more history than he is willing to discuss.

His heavily textured surface is layered with aged tones and metallic highlights, creating the appearance of an artefact worn by time. Every crack, ridge and sculptural detail has been individually worked and hand finished, allowing the raised textures to catch the light and reveal the depth hidden within the darker areas.

Individually handcrafted using mixed-media and Powertex techniques, The Relic began as a wearable mask before being transformed layer by layer into an original piece of House of Kyrtex art.

Despite looking as though he has recently been excavated from somewhere best avoided after dark, The Relic remains wearable, making him perfectly suited to masquerade balls, gothic events and theatrical occasions. When not being worn, he makes an equally intriguing piece of dark fantasy display art.

For collectors of ancient-looking curiosities, dark fantasy and mysterious objects with absolutely no intention of explaining where they came from.
